Book Tag: My Life in Books

Hi,

I thought I might do another book tag 🙂 I’m not tagging anyone, if you want to participate – go ahead (don’t forget to leave a link to your post in the comments! I’d be really interested in reading your answers).

Pick a book that starts with each of your initials.

Romeo and Juliet – I haven’t read this but I’ve seen some movies based on it.

Pippi Longstocking – This was one of my favorite childhood books; my dad bought me the entire series on a trip to the U.S and two years later, I was still re-reading the books! 🙂 Thanks daddy! ❤

Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire – This is one of my favorite Harry Potter books. I’d like to give a shoutout to my best friend (Jessica) at thebooknecessity.wordpress.com who inspired me to read this series. Thanks Jess! 🙂

Count your age starting at the top of your bookshelf. What book is it?

My 14th book is… The Medusa Plot by Gordon Korman. This is a book in the Cahills vs Vespers (The 39 Clues) series. For a while I was obsessed with this series and I still think it’s pretty good.

Find a book that takes place in your country, state, or city.

Life of Pi (I’ve only seen the movie) takes place in India.

Pick a book that represents a destination that you’d love to travel to.

Daughter of Smoke and Bone takes places in Prague and ever since I started reading the series, I’ve always wanted to go there. The Geography of You and Me also has characters that live in and visit a lot of cool places!

Pick your book that has your favourite colour on it.

Fallen-by-Lauren-Kate

Black is one of my favorite colors and also this book cover features multiple shades of blue.

Which book do you have the fondest memories of.

If all my childhood books weren’t packed away in cardboard boxes to make space for my young adult books, I’d totally be rooting through my bookshelf right now. Instead I’ll just have to name a book I’ve already mentioned: Pippi Longstocking. Her unpredictability and weirdness was what made me love Pippi so much. Reading about her was like being reassured that it’s okay to be different or to stand out because it doesn’t matter what anyone else thinks!

Which book did you have the most difficulty reading.

To be honest, I can’t remember. And I’m not trying to brag or anything –  I just usually ditch books if they are unbearably boring or I can’t stand reading them for whatever reason.

Which book on your TBR pile will give you the most satisfaction when you read it.

Probably Throne of Glass by Sarah J. Maas or Vampire Academy by Richelle Mead. Both were recommendations from Jessica and she has been driving me crazy this week telling me to read them! And so I will but first…something else on my TBR pile! 😀

Hope you enjoyed reading my latest book tag! ❤
