Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone was one of those books that required a lot of convincing to read. Initially, I had avoided reading it because I was worried I might get nightmares (I did not and still don’t read “scary books.”) To her credit, my best friend (Jessica), did not give up and even went as far as to gift me with my own copy of the book and the DVD so that I would have to..
a) not read it and therefore hurt her feelings (which wasn’t really an option in the first place!!)
b) read it…… which led to me binge-reading the rest of the books in the series! 😀
Now you know why I picked a quote from this book! (I picked this specific quote because I think it’s pretty significant. It reminds us not to get so caught up in our day-dreams that we don’t focus on reality. It reminds us to live in the moment and not just stress over our future. :))
